“Tim Talks,” Charlotte Mayor Tim Lewis’s monthly Facebook Live program, will return for its second installment on July 11 at 6:00 p.m.
“I was very pleased with the response to our June 13 launch of ‘Tim Talks’,” Lewis said. “I was able to field questions from viewers both during and after the program, which has now been seen more than 1000 times.”
This episode will be 15 minutes long and include updates on current and upcoming events and issues. In addition, Mayor Lewis will be joined by Dillon Rush, Executive Director of CharlotteRising, for a discussion about its activities.
Mr. Rush is a Charlotte native who recently graduated from the University of Michigan. His work in 2016 as an intern with CharlotteRising was instrumental in Charlotte’s success in achieving the select level of the Michigan Main Street program earlier this year.
“I am excited about the opportunity to have this conversation with Dillon,” Lewis said. “It will be an excellent way for residents to learn more about this important new organization and its work.”
