Tornado Siren Tests
This procedure is performed at noon on the first Saturday of each month, from April through October of each year.
- Please note: This test shall not be conducted during actual inclement weather, nor if the community is under any severe weather Watches or Warnings.
- Tests are to be performed promptly at Noon.
- Fire department personnel are present at each siren location during the tests to verify that the siren is functioning properly.
- The siren is sounded for approximately one minute, at which time the test will be complete and the sirens will be turned off.
