Polls open 7:00 a.m. and Close 8:00 p.m.
Polling Locations:
District 1 Precinct 1: City Hall, 111 E. Lawrence Ave, Top Floor
District 1 Precinct 2: City Hall, 111 E. Lawrence Ave, Basement
District 2 Precinct 1: New Hope Community Church 436 W. Harris
District 2 Precinct 2: West Side Fire Station, 911 W. Shepherd St.
If registering to vote within 15 days of any election you desire to vote in, including the day of the election, you must register in person at the clerk’s office and provide proof of residency (find more voter registration info here)
ABSENTEE VOTING

The City Clerk will mail you an application for an absentee ballot if your voting record indicates you would like to be on the Permanent Absentee Ballot list. You may otherwise apply for an absentee ballot online here
Submit your paper absentee ballot application by 1. in person to the Clerk or 2. fax (517) 543-8845, 3. email clerk@charlottemi.org (scan or take photo of application with signature clearly seen), 4. by postal mail* or 5. place in one of the 2 drop boxes located at 111 E. Lawrence Ave. in front lobby or back parking lot – drive up along Washington St. Online applications are delivered electronically to the Clerk by the State.
