Randy has enjoyed a long term relationship with the city as the assessor. He began as a full-time employee and remained full time for 10 years. At that point the position was changed to a contractual one in which he continued to serve as assessor through today. Randy was born and raised here in Charlotte and attended Lansing Community College as well as other various educational classes relating to the field of assessing and appraising. He is currently a level 3 certified assessor. He is also a former certified appraiser and has worked for lending institutions and local attorneys. Randy says “I enjoy working in my hometown and I hope to continue offering my services for years to come.”

Sandy was also born and raised here and began her employment as a secretary to the assessor. Over the years she has continued her education and is now also a certified level 3 assessor and acts as the assessor in his absence. Sandy is likely to be the person you would speak with if you call our office and her positive and cheerful manner is a great asset to our staff.
