Every year, City officials are asked countless times when trick-or-treating will take place. Unlike some communities, there is no formal action that is taken by the City or any other local organization to designate “official” hours. Nevertheless, a custom has been established over many years to insure that homeowners know when to turn on their porch lights and parents know when to let loose their little ghosts and superheroes. So here it is: something else TRICK-OR-TREATING IN CHARLOTTE TAKES PLACE ON OCTOBER 31 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6:00 P.M. AND 8:00 P.M.
