Kevin
Fullerton is the Chief of the City of Charlotte Fire Department and
also the city's building official. He is, of course, responsible
for the readiness of the fire department and the maintenance of its
equipment. He is also the director of the city's building and
zoning department, and as such, is responsible for overseeing the
issuance of building permits and inspections, as well as city
property code enforcement. Fullerton serves as primary staff
support for the City of Charlotte Planning Commission and as senior
department head, often serves as Acting City Manager.
